accordance with AS5488-2019, and with a team of qualified and accredited locators, you can rest assured that your project is in the most capable hands.

deliver final project deliverable.

Our 2 Step Process

Our approach has been developed around both risk and cost management. We believe that our process provides the most consistent results with the highest accuracies. As a consequence, cost overruns can be avoided and project budgets can be better managed.


Early communication is key – we believe in clear two way communication yo fully appriciate the requirements of our clients.

Coordination of DBYD, site plans and/or traffic management plans and permits.

Site works involving detailed EMI, 2DGPR and CCTV (if required) to locate and map all present utilities identified on available plans.

Detailed passive and inductive sweeps of site area utilising EMI and GPR to determine the existence of unknown utilities that have not been listed on available plans.

Pick up of all utilities with survey accuracy and management of data to meet client requirements.

Handover of preliminary drawing to the client to undertake a conflict analysis that will determine the requirement(s) to proceed to phase two.


After detailed clash detection has been performed, we work with our clients to identify the scope of QLA potholing for verification.

We, once again, coordinate all elements to complete QL-A verifications including all of the requirements for traffic management plans, permits, surface removal and reinstatements.

We then use potholing diagrams to document asset type, size, configuration, type and positioning.

All utility project data gathered across both phase 1 and phase 2 is then compiled into one final project deliverable.
